what is life?

When Jesus said He came thatwe might have life, what did He mean?
I've heard some preachers say that life is money. They're so wrong. Life is not money. Money is simply a means of exchange. Life is so much more than money. Life is happiness. Happiness, peace, and all that go with those things.

Sure money can make us happy for a time, but will it get us through to the other side? Not at all. The Life Jesus spoke of is eternal Life with Him and His Father, our Creator. It starts now though. We can have that life now...or a taste of it. If we accept Jesus' invitation and His Gift of life we have it. And once we have it we begin to enjoy all the good things God has to offer. WE can then enjoy the depth of the beauty of a sunrise, or the stars, or just a mountain view.
We start to appreciate the small things like how funny kids can be, or just a simple conversation with a friend.

We start to learn how important the small things are and we begin to appreciate them and love them.

With Jesus in our lives things are completely different. And with Jesus we understand love.
